After the success of Burewala Dastarkhawan, we realised that we could not cater the demands of the entire city through one location. Alot of Food Insecure communities and people in need were far from the Dastarkhawan’s operational radius.

We began brainstorming over the ideas of setting up new Branches of the Dastarkhawan but realised that it would be very difficult and costly to manage. Then came a brilliant Idea! Why not take the Dastarkhawan on the road?

Project Meals On Wheels was born! A model Food Van with capacity to carry thousands (Yes literally thousands) of meals! 

Our foodvan at the stroke of noon, leaves our Dastarkhawan and serves subsidized meals to hundreds of daily wagers and food insecure people on daily basis. It is a revolutionary idea that helps us reach even the farthest of areas!
